Studio Kroner welcomed Cincinnati artist Donna Talerico into the gallery with her new solo show "Absinthe & Abstracts." Donna’s work is unrestrained, with bold color and gestural brushstrokes. She paints intuitively, almost impulsively, celebrating the shapes and patterns of color and light that she “sees” within any subject matter.

A Tecnicolor Journey

“Like magic, at a 1998 workshop in Sorèze, France, my life as an artist turned to color,” said Donna Talerico, reflecting on the moment that transformed her career after years in black-and-white as a Cincinnati fashion illustrator. “The caps came off the tubes, and I’ve been painting full-time ever since.”

“Donna’s work explodes off the wall," said Paul Kroner, artist and owner of Studio Kroner. "Her joyful, energetic mark-making and love of color are infectious. I’m thrilled to showcase her art at Studio Kroner.”
