Bio
Mary Kroner creates and performs when moved to do so. Her performance piece, “X Marks The Spot” premiered as part of the 2021 All Else Pales Series. With this campy insightful and thought provoking play she has raised over $10,000 for various groups doing environmental restoration and education via benefit performances, including for The Civic Garden Center, The Mill Creek Alliance, The Ohio Forestry Fellowship, Imago and the Cincinnati Recycle and Re Use hub. She creates original theatre pieces when moved to do so. She is collaborating with theatre artist Tom Reese in the creation of the Pageant.
Statement
Mary’s newest performance, “A Living Earth Pageant,” was created for All Else Pales 2. Also known as “The Ever Rotating Constantly Changing Circulating Emanating Mystical Earth Pageant,” this is a performance of vignettes, done as a theatrical pageant. With music, movement, humor and insights this performance by an ad hoc group of citizen artists will celebrate Systems of the Earth that keep us alive in a style the likes of which you have never seen. This will be engaging, thought provoking, poignant and fun. It will be a one-of-a-kind performance.
